Information about your academic timetable
BY University of Reading 30 August 2017
Your timetable holds information on all of the classes you need to attend as part of your course. This includes lectures, seminars, workshops and any other events which form part of your programme.
Timetables are viewed through CMISGo, a portal which makes it easy for you to view your scheduled teaching events including tutorials and seminars. Use it to view modules, courses and room timetables as well as your own personal timetable.
How to access your timetable
Log in to CMISGo at timetable.reading.ac.uk using your University username and password.
You can select to view your timetable by day, week or month and even overlay other timetables, for example module timetables to check for clashes, using the ‘Toggle Timetable’ icon.
You can also view your timetable via Me@Reading by clicking on the ‘Calendar’ button at the top of the page. You won’t need to log in again as you’re already logged in to Me@Reading.
Syncing your timetable to your phone
Making your timetable available on your phone is a good idea and can prove really helpful if you need to check times and locations on the go.
To set this up, you’ll need to log in to CMISGo on a PC or laptop to create a new iCAL file which you can then sync to your phone. Further instructions are available in the guide below.
Help and support
The full CMISGo user guide is available here and also under the 'Help' menu in CMISGo.
If you need further help viewing your timetable or something doesn’t look right, please visit the Student Helpdesk based in the Carrington Building or one of the Support Centres.
