Big White Wall is a free online support community which you can access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
It’s a safe and anonymous online space which you can go to if you’re feeling down, struggling to cope, or just want to talk to people who understand what you’re going through.
Use Big White Wall to:
- Meet and chat with other members who may be experiencing similar feelings or situations
- Access a range of self-help articles, videos and online courses
- Evaluate your wellbeing and mental health, set goals and track your progress
- Express yourself and your feelings through drawing or uploading images
How Big White Wall can help
Big White Wall can help to support you when you're starting to feel low, but it can also be beneficial to use it alongside professional help like counselling.
The University's Counselling and Wellbeing service operates an appointment system which means you may not be seen straight away, so you can access Big White Wall for online support while you are on the waiting list to be seen.
Big White Wall is completely anonymous and separate to the University, so no one will know that you're using it unless you tell them.
