There are a number of ways that Careers can support you and help you to think about what the first or next step might be.
If you are in the position where you know what you want to do or you have some ideas, then you should probably be aware that applications to graduate schemes are likely to already be open, with the majority set to close before the Christmas break (some even have deadlines that are as early as October 25th). Jobs with small and medium-sized enterprises and in the not-for-profit sector (i.e. entry-level jobs, graduate internships, graduate roles etc.) are more likely to be advertised from January. Preparation for postgraduate study should start early as some providers will work on a first-come, first served basis and there are likely to be deadlines for securing funding and accommodation.
No matter what stage of career planning that you are currently at, careers are here to help support you take the next or first step to plan for your career.
