As a Master's student this isn't your first foray into studying at university. However it might be your first time studying at PG level, your first time at Reading or your first time at a UK university.

You are required to study 180 credits worth of modules (120 credits for PGDip, 60 credits for PGCert). During Welcome Week, you'll have an opportunity to discuss your Masters' degree programme and module selections (if applicable) with your School or Department.
Postgraduate loan for the 2018/19 academic year is £10609. The loan will be paid into your bank account in three instalments across the year in %’s of 33%, 33% and 34%. If your course is longer than 1 year you could get up to £5304.50 per year. if you choose to take out a Postgraduate Loan you will not have to pay any tuition fees when you enrol. You will be asked to pay your tuition fees in three separate instalments and these payments must be made by the end of the month in which you receive each instalment from your Student Finance Authority.
